Designed<br \/>\n\u00a0by James Braid, the course provides challenging, yet enjoyable golf set<br \/>\n\u00a0against the breath-taking and dramatic sandstone cliffs, with their<br \/>\n\u00a0world-famous Follies. This grade 1 listed landscape creates a specular<br \/>\n\u00a0backdrop to the course.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0The championship Course is as its name suggests, a par 72 6763 yard<br \/>\n\u00a0championship course designed by former Ryder Cup captain Brian Huggett and<br \/>\n\u00a0opened in 1995. The course design includes American style features; such as<br \/>\n\u00a0oval tees, rolling fairways with mounds, water hazards and large gently<br \/>\n\u00a0undulating greens.
