The Caribbean Golf Society is please to invite Members and non-members to
 attend the CGS’ first Open Golf Championship
 
 This two day 36 holes event will be held at the Hawkstone Park Golf Club in
 Shropshire on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th October 2013.
 
 The famous par 72, 6497 yard Hawkstone Course is one of the truly great golf
 courses in the country and has been attracting golfers since 1920. Designed
 by James Braid, the course provides challenging, yet enjoyable golf set
 against the breath-taking and dramatic sandstone cliffs, with their
 world-famous Follies. This grade 1 listed landscape creates a specular
 backdrop to the course.
 
 The championship Course is as its name suggests, a par 72 6763 yard
 championship course designed by former Ryder Cup captain Brian Huggett and
 opened in 1995. The course design includes American style features; such as
 oval tees, rolling fairways with mounds, water hazards and large gently
 undulating greens. The course provides a variety of challenges whatever your
 standard of play.
 
  Rates are as follows: Non-Members £105, Members £100.
 
 This great rate includes 18 holes on the Hawkstone course, evening dinner, 1
 night’s accommodation, breakfast, 18 holes on the Championship course, and a
 chance to win top prizes.
